On Wednesday Nov. 6, our Varsity Volleyball team won three out of five sets playing the Whiteford Bobcats, ultimately eliminating them from districts all together.
Sophomore Zoie Stubleski shared her mentality during the game with us, saying: “My mindset going into this game was to just stay positive and play as a team by having high communication.“
When asked what her favorite moment was so far this season, she responded: “Definitely taking Whiteford out of districts tonight, it’s probably the most fun I’ve ever had playing volleyball.”
Senior Beth Sweeney shared her inspiration: “My inspiration is probably my older sister Angela, because I originally didn’t want to play volleyball, but my sister decided she was going to play in eighth grade, and so I ended up playing my freshman year. I hated it originally, but she loved it, so I kept playing and now I love the sport. So, she’s my inspiration.”
