The Erie Mason girls volleyball team lost in the second round of districts against SMCC Saturday, Nov. 9 at Whiteford High School bringing an end to a great season. 

Girls volleyball upsets Deerfield to move on to districts

The Erie Mason varsity girls defeated Britton Deerfield in three sets at the volleyball game on senior night, Oct. 29. 


There are three seniors who were honored at this game – Beth Sweeney (outside hitter), Mackenna Gallaher (right side hitter), and Brooke Langedfer (setter). 


The team celebrated Sweeney’s 500th kill, in addition to Jayanna Willett’s 500th dig.


The girls are TCC league champs, undefeated in the league with a record of 12-0.


This was the volleyball girls’ last game of their season before district play starts next week. Their first district game will be Wednesday, Nov. 6.
